Now that 87 octane has topped $4.50 across most of the country, more Americans are becoming aware of the economics of energy. Of course, we are still being lied to about the basic, undeniable reason for the price surge — America’s refusal to harvest its own energy. Democrats led by Barack Obama continue to berate [...]

Overturning decades of legal precedent, a bitterly divided United States Supreme Court today gave aid and comfort to the enemy by declaring unconstitutional a 2006 law stripping “Guantanamo prisoners of the right to file so-called habeas corpus petitions,” reported Bloomberg news today. Justices John Paul Stevens, Stephen Breyer, Ruth Bader Ginsburg and David Souter supported Anthony Kennedy’s [...]

Newsmax.com is reporting that Hillary Clinton has been added to Barack Obama’s short list of possible running mates. Pardon me for not gasping in surprise. Does anyone seriously believe Obama would dare choose someone other than Hillary? I know the Obama campaign has to make a good showing and will spend the next several days or weeks [...]
