Proof that we are truly blessed is found in the abundance of things to be thankful for, including:
A full and free salvation in Jesus Christ. The unmerited, unconditional love of God. Christ’s sacrificial, atoning death on the cross. New life in Christ. Faithful fellow believers. Body life in the church. The Bible, God’s revelation to mankind, which is able to impart the wisdom that leads to eternal life in Christ.
A loving and faithful wife. A wonderful, talented and impossibly cute daughter. A terrific brother whose friendship grows more, and more important, with each passing year. A talented and engaging nephew. A vivacious sister-in-law whose unending enthusiam spreads joy wherever she goes. An intelligent and thoughtful son-in-law. The memory of loving, faithful, generous, and hard-working parents.
So many good friends who bring laughter, love, joy and fellowship to our lives.
The blessing of good health.
More than enough of life’s essentials. A nice home, abundant food, good clothing, cars that start and run, and too many clothes. Physically, we live better than 95% of humanity.
Living in America, the home of the brave and land of the free. There is no place on earth I’d rather live. No other country offers as much freedom and opportunity. Americans are the most blessed among the citizens of the world.
Yes, we have much to be thankful for. So, thanks be unto God from Whom all blessings flow.
